It's good to be back!

My first visit to Dartmoor for what seems like months and a walk up the East Okement River from Fatherford this morning was just what I needed after a few weeks that have been pretty full on and pretty devoid of landscape photography...which is where I feel most at home.

The wonderful smell of damp woodland, dappled light, the sound of a river and a little photography solitude....perfect.

One or two photographs that I'm pleased with made for a perfect few hours immersed in nature as the season shows signs of turning towards Autumn.
