Sunset last night was a delight...

Right up until the last moments before the sun dropped: an increasing amount of cloud snuffed it out at the last minute. Mustn't grumble really; with my recent track record with photographing sunset...this was pretty stunning.

An early night turned into a late one with a very enjoyable book and when I eventually put it down, it was much later than I'd hoped, given the alarm was set for 4.15am (I know...must be mad eh?).

Anyway...sunrise this morning is for another post, but safe to say, it didn't go quite to plan, but still ended up being a fab morning. Off to photograph a lone tree in a lake shortly....it's one long party for me! I'll have another go at an early night: alarm set for the same time tomorrow. I follow a few photographers on YouTube and one recently posted a video quoting the expression 'F8 and Be There' : The first part of that is a bit 'photographer...ish' (it's a camera settingngor those who arent aware...or jyst srent that bothered), but basically, if you aren't out...even if it's ridiculous o'clock....then you have no chance of getting a shot you really want. Good job I absolutely love being out there, hopefully capturing something special
